Safeguarding In Sport and Physical Activities Campaign School Consultation.

Thurrock Local Safeguarding Children Partnership (LSCP) are working in partnership with a national charity, The NWG Network to help launch a new campaign across Thurrock called “Safe to Play”. This campaign has been designed to help parents understand and recognise abusive practices in sport and other physical activities and provides advice and guidance to help support their children and also how to report any concerns.

As part of the wider consultation process, we are consulting with schools in Thurrock who may hire out their facilities to sports coaches/clubs or other providers of activities such as dance and drama after school hours to help us with our implementation plan for the campaign.
