Early Years Oral Health Programme

NHS Essex aims to increase awareness of good oral health practices, and knowledge of dental services available, to decrease the number of Thurrock children needing to be admitted to hospital for tooth extractions. This programme aims to instill good oral health habits from a young age by targeting children from birth to 8 years of age.

Families in Thurrock can also access free local oral health sessions through Thurrock Libraries.

Come along and meet Dexter the Dragon who is excellent at keeping his teeth clean! There are also free toothbrushes and toothpaste, and oral health activity packs for children.
