16 Days of Action Events

16 days of action starts on the 25th November 2021.  As part of this Thurrock Community Safety Partnership have organised a series of events for professionals and members of the community across Thurrock, details of these events and how you can be involved are below:-

Domestic Abuse and Stalking Awareness Training

One session is being run during the 16 days.  This is being held virtually on the 1st December and more information or the booking link can be found by clicking here


Sexual Violence Awareness Training - Challenging Myths, Changing Attitudes

This session is being run over two half days and delegates will need to attend both days.  The course is taking place virtually on the 8th and 9th December and more information or the booking link can be found by clicking here.


SERICC Professional Virtual Open Day - MS Teams

SERICC, the Rape and Sexual Abuse Specialist Service, provides services for victims/survivors of all forms of sexual violence across the South and West of Essex.  The Virtual Open Day gives Thurrock professionals an opportunity to talk to a staff member from each of SERICC's teams.  The SERICC staff will provide an overview of each team's work and there will be time for you to ask any questions you may have.  Staff will also explain the importance of Synergy (the Partnership of Essex Rape Crisis Centres) and talk attendees through the process of making a referral or sharing the website resources with someone who might benefit - please note that this event will be recorded.
