Arts Outburst
Arts Outburst co-creates art and cultural projects with the people of Thurrock. They joined Arts Council England’s National Portfolio in 2023 and secured extra funding for three years to develop and deliver even more great arts projects for everyone in Thurrock.
Make Some Noise is their cross-arts programme for 6-21 year olds living and studying in Thurrock which includes free dance, drama and music classes.
Term 2 runs from 13th January – 26th March 2026 and bookings open on 1st December 2025.

Green Light 2026 — Free Creative Activities Across Thurrock
Green Light 2026 is a free, two-week creative programme running 9–22 February 2026 across multiple venues throughout Thurrock. Organised by Start Thurrock, the initiative invites local people of all ages to “give something new a go” with a wide range of workshops, performances and creative tasters — from basket weaving and clay work to theatre, music, movement and arts-and-crafts sessions. All activities are designed based on community feedback and are suitable for children, adults, families and intergenerational groups, with inclusive and accessible options included.
