Thurrock Cares

Thurrock Council and partners in the borough's community and voluntary groups have created Thurrock Cares, which makes it easy for residents to find the help they need to support with the cost of living.

There is lots of help out there for families and households who might be struggling. This includes local schemes which can help you with utility bills and household essentials; government help and benefits; the Well Homes initiative that can make your home warmer and cheaper to heat; and local organisations and voluntary groups that can help you make sure you have access to good food, warm clothes and advice on how to save money.

Thurrock Cares Roadshows are also taking to place so you can go in person to find out more about what help is available. Or if you have any worries about making ends meet this winter and you would like to speak to an expert then the roadshows are the perfect place to learn how you can get the help you need.

Roadshows will be taking place at:
